Watch: Kilkenny Hurlers’ Carpool Karaoke Has Won The Internet For The Day

Currently away on peace-keeping duties, Kilkenny hurler Colin Fennelly is aching to get back onto the field.

The Ballyhale Shamrocks club-man stated that he was “looking forward to getting back to these lads” and posted a hilarious video of a re-enactment of that carpool karaoke scene in Step Brothers.

Kilkenny counterpart Padraig Walsh is driving the car, while their team-mates Lester Ryan, Rob Lennon and Conor O’Shea are the back-seat passengers.

You can check out the video of the Kilkenny hurlers singing along to Guns N’ Roses ‘Sweet Child O’Mine below:

If you are unaware of the reference, or think they’re completely bonkers, here’s exactly what they’re re-enacting:

In relation to Fennelly’s and Murphy’s return from peace-keeping duties, news surfaced lately the pair will be cutting it tight to make it back in time for the start of the Leinster Championship.

Both hurlers look likely to miss their opening two rounds which would be a huge blow to Brian Cody’s plans.
