Every single member of the GAA knows the importance of the county championship. From Senior all the way down to Junior B, a side’s prowess in their respective championship is what will define the club’s year.

The brilliant team behind Rory’s Stories recently put together this excellent sketch breaking down the week of a County Final, from the preparation, which means excessive hydration and rest, to the celebrations, which consist of serious dehydration and a lack of sleep.

The days, weeks and months of waiting are finally over, as the big day arrives. After gallons upon gallons of water, the players get ready to go out onto the field, but not without a blessing from the priest beforehand.

Then the celebrations begin, and it seems that they will never end!
