Storm Emma ensured that there was no Allianz National League action this weekend, with all the GAA fixtures being put back a week due to snow.
Of course, this has caused a fixture pile-up in hurling, and each of the rounds have been put back a week as a result. The quarter-finals will be played on March 17th/18th, with the semi-finals taking place on March 24th/25th. The final will move to Saturday March 31st.
Arrangements for relegation play-offs and finals in the other divisions in hurling will be confirmed on 12th March.
Today, the GAA have announced the re-fixed ties, with most of the games pencilled in for their original time slots, but pushed back by seven days.
However, Dublin’s meeting with Kerry in Division 1 in the Allianz National Football League, originally set for last Saturday night, will now take place on Sunday afternoon at 4pm at Croke Park.
The remaining rounds in football will be played as originally scheduled, barring Division 4 with the following plan:
Antrim v Carlow (Rd 6)
Waterford v Leitrim (Rd 6)
Wicklow v Limerick (Rd 6)
March 25th – Round 7
Carlow v Laois
Leitrim v Wicklow
Limerick v Antrim
London v Waterford
March 31/Apr 1st (outstanding games from Rd 5):
Laois v Antrim
London v Leitrim
