Eight-time All-Ireland Senior hurling winner, Eoin Larkin, has hung up his boots. He has retired from the game as one of the most respected and successful hurlers of all time.
As well as the eight All-Ireland medals, Larkin had many other success stories with Kilkenny as he captured ten Leinster Senior hurling medals, six National League medals, and personally collected two All-Star awards.
Larkin has issued a statement via Kilkenny GAA, where he thanked his family, friends and his team-mates for enabling him to reach his star potential and to ‘fulfil [his] dream.’

Well done to @11larky on a great career. His savage work rate often drew the attention but his hurling was always pure class! ??

Undoubtedly, Eoin Larkin will go down in history as one of the all-time greats ever to grace the field of play. A terrific ambassador for hurling. Congratulations on the retirement, Eoin.
