The first round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship qualifiers has taken place today on RTÉ Radio 1, and it has thrown up some interesting ties.

The 1A side of the draw will take place on the weekend of June 17/18.

Derry will take on Waterford, who ran Cork to a point in the first round of Munster. Meanwhile, there are two all-Leinster ties as Louth face Longford and Wicklow take on Laois.

Antrim will hope to recover from a hammering at the hands of Donegal against Sligo.

The 1B games will take place the following week.

Armagh fell flat in the second half against Down, and will once again face Ulster opposition in the form of Fermanagh.
