Former Germany and Liverpool midfielder, Didi Hamann, is well used to these shores following frequent appearances on the RTÉ panel. Considering he spends every second June/July in Ireland to cover a major soccer championship, he is bound to have caught a game of hurling at some point, even it was just on the television.
The pundit was doing a question and answers on Twitter, and was asked by one user about his thoughts on the clash of the ash. His response sums up what many foreigners feel when seeing hurling for the first time.
