Cork and Kerry to Replay in Fitzgerald Stadium

After the sides could not be separated Kerry and Cork will replay on July 18

Cork must once again travel to Killarney for the Munster Senior Football Championship Final replay.

The Munster Council have taken the decision to stage the replay in Fitzgerald Stadium as Pairc Ui Chaoimh is currently under redevelopment.

While this leaves Cork with the tough task of travelling to Killarney to beat Kerry, it also offers them another opportunity to overcome the Kingdom in Fitzgerald Stadium for the first time in twenty years.

Although no throw in time has yet been announced, Cork can rest safe in the knowledge that the last time a Munster Final went to a replay was in 2006, when they beat Kerry 1-12 to 0-9.

Thurles anyone?
