Cora Staunton has certainly hit the ground running in her Australian Rules career, as she represents GWS Giants. After shipping a hefty knock two weeks ago, she was back with a bang this morning as she helped the team to a 39-21 win over Fremantle.
The Mayo native executed a delightful turn upon winning the ball, kicking off her right and splitting the uprights.

She then turned provider for Courtney Gum with this assist for another goal.

The win moved GWS giants into fourth in the table after five games, two points behind leaders Western Bulldogs.
