This weekend the Allianz National Hurling Leagues return. 

Two divisions that inevitably receive the most interest are the top tiers of the respective hurling and football competitions, and in Division 1A of the NHL in particular the opening fixtures are certainly mouth-watering. 

Among those are clashes between rivals Cork and Kilkenny at the refurbished Páirc Uí Chaoimh, a derby game between Waterford and Wexford and an interesting match-up between Munster neighbours Tipperary and Clare.
