Pundit Arena are pleased to announce that we have relaunched The 16th Man; the world’s premier GAA podcast. Every week throughout the summer, we will bring you the best analysis and insights into the championships, as the races for Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy gather pace.

For this week’s episode, Brian Barry and Sean Cremin discuss all the big games over the coming weekend. Meanwhile, John Allen and John Leahy are on the line to discuss the preparations and expectations in Cork and Tipperary respectively, ahead of the big one in Thurles on Sunday.

Allen feels that the lack of leadership within the Rebels’ camp is certainly an issue, but there is healthy competition. However, both were in agreement that Tipperary are entering as hot favourites, and Kieran Kingston’s side will need a big performance to cause an upset.

Dublin face Wexford in Croke Park in the Leinster Hurling Championship, while the Yellowbellies face Kildare beforehand in football.

The Ulster Football Championship continues with Tyrone making the trip to Derry in a bid to push on from their League triumph in Division 2.

Finally, Kerry play Offaly for the right to play Laois in the Leinster Hurling quarter-final, with huge pressure on both sides.

Make sure to check back next week for the second episode of our GAA podcast; The 16th Man.
