Dublin Name Starting Team To Face Tyrone In Sunday’s All-Ireland Semi-Final

Jim Gavin has named his Dublin starting fifteen to face Tyrone in Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final at Croke Park.

The burning question all week was surrounding Diarmuid Connolly – the St. Vincents man is once again available for selection having served his suspension for pushing a linesman, but debate had been widespread as to whether Connolly should be placed straight back into the team or not.

Well, that question has been answered – Connolly is not in the starting lineup. He will instead have to make to with a place on the bench.

Instead, Gavin has opted to pick the same fifteen that started in the 1-19 to 0-12 victory over Monaghan in the semi-finals. Indeed the only change of any kind is a positional one, Jack McCaffrey and Eric Lowndes swapping roles.

Dublin are aiming to reach their fourth All-Ireland final in five years, with the winners of Sunday’s clash facing the winners of Kerry and Mayo’s replayed game at Croke Park on Saturday afternoon.

Tyrone’s starting fifteen can be found here.
