Tipperary & Limerick Name Teams For Sunday’s Munster Final

Tipperary and Limerick have named their respective teams for Sunday’s Munster Senior Hurling Final at the Gaelic Grounds (throw-in 2 pm).

These two sides met at Semple Stadium two weeks ago in the final round of the Munster round-robin and it was Liam Sheedy’s men who prevailed by four points.

However, Limerick boss John Kiely has recalled four of his big guns for the final on Sunday as Declan Hannon, Cian Lynch, Gearoid Hegarty and Graeme Mulcahy all come back into the fold as Paddy O’Loughlin, Darragh O’Donovan, Shane Dowling and Seamus Flanagan drop out.

In what is a huge boost to Sheedy’s charges, Cathal Barrett is deemed fit to start with the only change in the team being the introduction of Dan McCormack who replaces the injured Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher.
