It’s still all to play for in Ballybofey as Tyrone and Donegal battle it out for a place in the All Ireland semi-final but this goal from Michael Murphy has certainly given the home side the edge.
It was as tight an opening as you would expect of an all-Ulster clash with blanket defences on both sides meaning few scoring opportunities.
The sides were level numerous times but heading into the last five minutes of the opening half Donegal edged in front by one through Ryan McHugh. Then up stepped Michael Murphy to capitalise after Niall Morgan took a risky short kick out.

It’s half time in Ballybofey with the scoreline reading Donegal 1-6 Tyrone 0-5. Anything could happen still in this tight affair.
