Cork captain, Seamus Harnedy has emerged as an injury doubt ahead of Sunday’s All Ireland semi-final clash against Limerick, according to the Irish Independent.
The paper is reporting that the 28-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in a recent challenge game against the U21 side.
The St Ita’s man has been in sensational form for the Rebel county this season, scoring 1-4 in the Munster final against Clare with 2-14 to his name this season. Harnedy was held scoreless in their drawn match against Limerick in June.
There are further injury concerns for John Meyler in the form of Patrick Collins (back) and Darren Browne (hamstring), but there is some good news with the return of Mark Ellis to full training after he sustained an injury in that game against John Kiely’s men.
