Ryan McCluskey Annouces Retirement After 19 Years With Fermanagh

Fermanagh’s longest-serving player, Ryan McCluskey has today announced his retirement from inter-county football after 19 years.

In a statement posted on social media, the 37-year-old thanked management, fans and his family for their support.

“To the numerous managers, back room teams and my teammates it’s been one hell of a pleasure”.

“To all the fans of the green and white keep believing. We will get there.”

McCluskey has won seven Fermanagh titles with his club, Enniskillen Gaels but failed to win an Ulster medal during his near two-decade career, losing out to Donegal in the final this year.
