Limerick GAA have unveiled their new home jersey which will be worn by the county’s footballers and hurlers for the upcoming 2019 season.
The county have been sponsored by businessman JP McManus through the non-commercial brand of Sporting Limerick since 2004 but have decided to forego the tradition of having the sponsor logo on their new jersey.

Limerick GAA say they wanted to go back to a more “traditional look”.
“The new Limerick GAA jersey design encapsulates the traditional look and feel of GAA jerseys by going back to basics. The Shannonsiders have broken current tradition with this new design concept, as it is the first inter-county jersey in a number of years not to feature a sponsor on the front as well as having a clean green look and feel to it, opposed to the intricate design on the previous jersey.”
The 2019 Limerick GAA Home jersey will be available to purchase in-store exclusively from Intersport Elverys and online at Elverys.ie or oneills.com from Thursday the 8th of November. It will go on general release on 11th November.
