Kerry v Galway Showdown In Super 8s To Clash With World Cup Final

The GAA have this afternoon announced the first round of fixtures that involve the provincial champions in the Super 8s competition and sports fans won’t be happy with one decision.

The most eagerly anticipated clash of Group 1 is the fixture between Kerry and Galway and it has been decided that this clash will take place on Sunday July 15 at 4pm – the same time as the kick-0ff of the World Cup final.

The venue for that clash is Croke Park.

Meanwhile in Group 2, Dublin and Donegal will go head-to-head at GAA HQ the previous evening, Saturday July 14.

Further fixture details will be announced following the completion this weekend’s round 4 qualifiers that will decide who takes the final four spots in the Super 8s.
