Your Guide To All Of The Weekend’s Club Fixtures

There’s another tantalising weekend of GAA and camogie club action this weekend with key games in the various provincial championships.

We’re down to the final eight teams in the Leinster football championship. Last year’s champions, Moorfield of Kildare, take on Portlaoise in Newbridge while Kilmacud Crokes will be hoping to continue their fine season when they take on Dunboyne in Navan.

The stand-out fixture of the weekend sees a titanic battle between Dr Crokes of Kerry and the Cork champions, St Finbarrs. That game throws in at 1.30pm in Killarney on Sunday and will be shown live on TG4.

The broadcaster will also be showing deferred coverage of Corofin against Clann Na nGael of Roscommon in the Connacht semi-final. In the other clash, Aughawillan of Leitrim take on Ballintubber for a place in the final.

It’s the biggest day in the Ulster club hurling championship as 10-time champions, Ruairí Óg Cushendall, face Ballycran in the final. The Antrim side haven’t been in the decider since 2015 while Ballycran will be looking for their first Ulster title since 1993.

Also in hurling, Galway will take on Kilkenny in Sydney for the inaugural Wild Geese Trophy. RTE will have full highlights of the game on Sunday evening at 8pm.
