GAA Confirm Fixture Details For First Round Of Football Qualifiers

The GAA have confirmed the fixture details for the opening round of the football qualifiers which will take place on the weekend of June 8th/9th.

The draw for the first round took place yesterday morning and threw up some interesting clashes including an all-Ulster meeting of Monaghan and Fermanagh while Carlow will face the losers of Kildare and Fermanagh who meet in a replay this weekend.

Tipperary were drawn first out of the bowl, however, Liam Kearns’ men travel to Newry to face Down based on the league.

Offaly v London, Bord Na Mona O’Connor Park, 1.30pm

Leitrim v Wicklow, Avantcard Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, 3pm

Wexford v Derry, Innovate Wexford Park, 4.45pm

Louth v Antrim, Gaelic Grounds, Drogheda, 7pm


Sunday, June 9

Down v Tipperary, Páirc Esler, 2pm

Monaghan v Fermanagh, St Tiernach’s Park, 2pm

Carlow v Loser of Kildare/Longford, Netwatch Cullen Park, 3pm

Westmeath v Waterford, TEG Cusack Park, 3pm
