Say what you might about Waterford – one thing that cannot be denied about the county is their ability to produce players of the highest calibre year in, year out.
The Déise take on Cork on Sunday in what is a crucial game for Derek McGrath’s men as they bid to bring the Liam MacCarthy Cup home for the first time since 1959 and book their place in the final for the first time since 2008.
Waterford have again impressed this year, losing to Cork in Munster before getting past Offaly, Kilkenny and Wexford to earn a crack at revenge.
Regardless of what happens on Sunday, there will be one or two players from both sides who will be awarded for this season’s efforts when the All-Star awards come along.
With this in mind, we’re setting you a challenge – to name every Waterford All-Star since the awards series began in 1971.
Nineteen Waterfordians have been recognised for their excellence in a Déise jersey – and we’re giving you seven minutes to name them.
How good is your memory?
