Incredible Sunday Game Promo Shows How Much All-Ireland Means To Galway And Waterford

Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling final represents an incredible opportunity for both Galway and Waterford to end their respective famines and become All-Ireland champions.

It’s been 29 years for Galway, but Waterford have waited twice that long – it’s been 58 years in the pipeline for the Déise.

Derek McGrath and Micheal O’Donoghue will be looking to add their names to the history books – as they battle it out for All-Ireland glory.

One side must become the victor and the latest promotion video by RTÉ’s The Sunday Game has exemplified such in stunning fashion.

The video speaks on how years of hurt have passed while other counties have thrived and almost tormented the others with their continued successes whilst it was always a story of so near yet so far for the likes of Galway and Waterford.

Years of hard work and dedication have boiled down to the granting of this opportunity – and one of the Déise or Tribesmen are going to have to seize it.

If this doesn’t set your heart racing for today’s throw-in – then nothing else will.

Tension is unbearable on both sides – but one famine must come to an end.
