The four remaining qualifiers were paired up with the beaten provincial finalists in this morning’s draw for Round 4A and 4B of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
Roscommon, Donegal, Tipperary and Westmeath all drop down to the qualifiers having been defeated in their respective finals, with Cork, Mayo, Clare and Derry all coming through their 3A and 3B qualifiers with varying levels of difficulty on Saturday.
The draw took place on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland today, and has thrown up some interesting ties as each of these counties looks for a second crack at Sam Maguire.
The draw, in full, is as follows:
Round 4A:
Clare vs. Roscommon
Derry vs. Tipperary
Round 4B:
Cork vs. Donegal
Mayo vs. Westmeath
The Round 4A games will take place next Saturday July 23rd, with the Round 4B fixtures taking place on the following weekend.
Provincial champions Kerry, Galway, Dublin and Tyrone await the winners in the All-Ireland quarter finals.
Dates, times and venues should be confirmed by the CCCC later today.
