The Tipperary county board have confirmed that they have ratified both Darragh Egan and Tommy Dunne for appointment to Liam Sheedy’s backroom team for 2019.
After an absence of eight-years, Sheedy was confirmed to take the reins for his county once again last month, replacing Michael Ryan after his three-year spell in charge.
Now, one month on from that announcement, the Tipperary county board have ratified the appointments of both Egan and Dunne for the upcoming season.
Tommy Dunne is a former All-Ireland winning captain and Darragh Egan was part of the Tipperary panel who won their 26th All-Ireland in 2010.
When Ryan stepped down from his position in August, he brought with him several members of his own backroom staff so with this latest development, it’s good to see that the new boss is already starting to switch things up as Tipp look to put together a successful campaign next year.
