Leeds United may have to pay up to €31million if they are to sign Troy Parrott, according to reports coming out of Holland.
The Ireland striker could have a raft of clubs looking into his availability after his international heroics steered his country into the World Cup play-offs against all the odds.
Premier League side Leeds United are reportedly interested in making an offer for Ireland hero Troy Parrott as Daniel Farke wants a new striker to help with their survival bid.
Parrott’s stock has risen at AZ Alkmaar after joining on a permanent deal from Tottenham for €8 million in the summer of 2024.
He’s fired 13 goals in 14 games for his club across the Eredivisie and in Europe this season, while his five goals against Portugal and Hungary have given him international acclaim.

According to transferMarkt, Parrott’s transfer fee before the international break rose to €16m after firing 14 league goals in his debut season.
However, former Feyenoord and Aston Villa player Karim El Ahmadi believes Parrott has added €15m to his valuation in just a week.
Speaking to ESPN’s Dutch show Voetbalpraat, he said: “In just a week, his transfer value has increased by ten to fifteen million euros.
“In his off-ball role, I think he’s a bit like Luuk de Jong,” he added. “He really sets the tone and includes everyone.”
AZ Alkmaar remain in a strong position to drive a hard bargain for their main man when the transfer window opens in January.
At the age of 23, Parrott still has his best years ahead of him and is currently contracted to the Dutch club until 2029.
Leeds are likely to be locked in a relegation scrap throughout the entirety of the season, and scoring goals has been their biggest problem.
Their joint top scorer, which includes defender Joe Rondon, is currently on two goals, which only emphasises their need for a new frontman.
The January transfer window is a notoriously difficult one to sign new players, especially for a reasonable fee. Teams stuck in relegation battles will typically pay well over the odds for a player, especially given the riches of remaining in the top flight.
Do Tottenham have a sell-on clause with Troy Parrott?
Reports suggest Tottenham could pocket a nominal figure should Parrott make the move to the Premier League in the near future.
When they sold the striker, they included a 20% sell-on fee, although it’s unclear whether that is on the total figure or on any profit made.
If he moves for €31m, Tottenham could earn between €4.6m and €6.2m.
They may regret not including a buy-back clause in the deal when they sold him to the Dutch side.
