Xherdan Shaqiri’s Double For Stoke Is Compulsive Viewing

There haven’t been many goals in the Premier League today, but Xherdan Shaqiri’s double for Stoke is certainly the talking point.

The Swiss wide-man lit up a dull encounter at the KC Stadium with his delicious first, with Mark Hughes side struggling to break down a stubborn Hull side.

The former Bayern Munich man worked his way onto his left foot before lifting the ball past the helpless David Marshall in the home goal.

Safe to say, the football world was impressed.

His second was almost as fantastic, a sublime free-kick putting the Potters 2-0 up.

The 25-year-old has his critics due to his inconsistency, but on his day he is a fine footballer indeed.
