Watch: Wolves Unveil New Home Kit In The Most Bizarre Way Imaginable

Shirt unveilings have become overblown affairs in recent years, and now Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have – quite literally – taken that to extreme new heights.

While most clubs these days settle for a ticketed event where a bunch of bemused first team players model unfamiliar shirts, Wolves have taken the “over the top” mantle right out of West Ham’s hands.

For reasons known only to themselves, Wolves have decided to take the term “kit launch” quite literally – and have tied their new shirt to a balloon and rocket and sent it into space.

While Wolves were hoping to garner publicity from the video (and, to their credit, it is an interesting), most people’s initial reaction was in relation to the giant sponsor logo on the front of the kit itself.

However, the club have insisted that while the logo has remained the same size, this particular shirt had been shrunk down to be able to fit around the rocket.
