Watch: Zidane Reminds Everyone Just How Good He Was With Some Glorious Touches In Real Training

Zinedine Zidane certainly hasn’t lost his touch…

If there is anyone reading this who is too young to remember Zidane in his pomp, then we have great sympathy for you. The man was more than a magician with a ball at his feet, he was an artist.

Zidane’s career infamously ended in hugely controversial fashion as, after almost single handedly dragging France to the 2006 World Cup final with one world class display after another, Zizou lost his head at the final hurdle.

Having just cracked the crossbar with a thumping header, Zidane then stuck his head into Marco Materazzi after the Italian had apparently abused a member of his family.

However, although the moment somewhat tainted a glorious career, the Frenchman certainly went out at the peak of his powers and, knocking the ball around with his Real Madrid squad this week, Zizou showed that at 44 years of age, he most certainly hasn’t lost his touch.
