Huddersfield Town’s beginning to life in the Premier League has had its ups and downs, but they have proved they’re capable of pulling off some big scalps already.
Having come into the division as some people’s number one relegation candidates, the Terriers have backed up their bark with a lot of bite, putting the likes of Newcastle United and Manchester United to sword while holding Leicester City to a draw.
So far this term they have racked up twelve points and could make that 15 if they can hold onto their slim 1-0 lead against West Brom.
That lead of course came through one of the strikes of the season so far from ex-Netherlands under-21 international Rajiv van La Parra.
Picking up the ball just to left of the Baggies’ box, the former Heerenveen man opened his body up before letting fly with a sumptuous effort which flew into the top right hand corner.

If they can now hang on Huddersfield could claim another invaluable three points in their quest to achieve safety.
However, if they can keep picking up results like this along the way they may have loftier ambitions come 2018.
