Gary Neville just described the ongoing chaos at Old Trafford as ‘UFC stuff’ as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Tyrone Mings got involved in some very ugly scenes.
With Manchester United on the attack, Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended up on the turf outside the Bournemouth box having fallen over teammate, Wayne Rooney.
At that moment, Tyrone Mings was bursting a gut trying to help his defence and, in jumping over the fallen Swede, the Bournemouth defender inexcusably stamped down on Zlatan’s head.
The ref somehow missed the stamp and, as a result, it seems that the Manchester United striker decided he was going to get some vigilante justice.
With Mings marking him as a ball was crossed into the box, Ibrahimovic jumped as if he was looking to contest for a header. However, in doing so, he also swung a vicious elbow at Mings, knocking the Bournemouth player to the ground.
