Celtic have been ramping up their preparations for the new season this week with a series of friendlies across Europe.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are this afternoon taking on Shamrock Rovers in the Tallaght Stadium with a strong side named despite their upcoming Champions League qualifiers. Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Kieran Tierney all started the game in Dublin and the Scots seem to be proving too much for Stephen Bradley’s charges. At the time of writing, the Bhoys are pulling away and heading for a comfortable victory.
However, the highlight of the match was provided by a Rovers man when Sean Boyd almost pulled off an absolute worldie early on. The 19-year-old spotted Celtic ‘keeper Craig Gordon too far off his line and went for an audacious lob.
In the end, it was a phenomenal save from Gordon. Check out the brilliant effort below.

Celtic take on Linfield in Belfast on Friday evening in a game that was originally pencilled in for this Wednesday, the 12th. However, due to the Orange Order parades in the city that day, the game was moved at the request of the PSNI.
