Paul Pogba has just taken the dab celebration to a whole new level…
In the modern sports era, social media crazes have led to multiple stars developing all sorts of bizarre celebrations to boost their online marketability.
For Manchester United, Paul Pogba is at this moment in time, undoubtedly the club’s biggest star and has on multiple occasions celebrated goals with strange dances including his trademark ‘dab’.
Although the France international has until now reserved the ‘dab’ for the moments after he has stuck the ball in the back of the net, playing in a charity game in Colombia on Saturday, the Manchester United man audaciously dropped a dab before the ball crossed the line.
Although it was just a charity match, the move was somewhat cheeky from Pogba given the fact that the ball hadn’t even crossed the line when he began to drop the somewhat cringeworthy celebration.
Roy Keane has on multiple occasions slated modern players for their obsessive concern with their social media profiles and, speaking after Manchester United’s clash with St Etienne in the Europa League last season, the former Ireland international criticised Pogba for chatting with his brother during the game labelling his ‘carry on’ as ‘nonsense’.
