Well, this one will certainly interest Manchester United supporters…
For many weeks now, reports have suggested that James Rodriguez is set to part company with Real Madrid this summer with the Colombian out of favour with current manager, Zinedine Zidane.
Rodriguez had impressed since moving to Spain and was regularly selected under former manager Carlo Ancelotti. However, with the attacking midfielder seeming increasingly frustrated with his circumstances at the Bernabeu in recent weeks, several reliable reports have suggested that the 25-year-old is heading for Old Trafford this summer.

Real Madrid took on Sevilla in the Bernabeu on Sunday night and, with his side 2-1 up at the time, Rodriguez was withdrawn from the field in the 60th minute. Although it initially seemed to be a normal moment, Rodriguez’s treatment of the substitution immediately alerted the Real Madrid faithful to the fact that something more significant was taking place.
The Sevilla clash was Real Madrid’s last home game of the season and with the Colombian taking the time to applaud each stand in the Bernabeu with a rather resigned and forlorn expression, it didn’t take a rocket scientist to recognise that the attacker was bidding farewell to the Real supporters.
