Watch: Manchester United’s David De Gea Produces Three Stunning Saves For Spain, Silenes Critics

Dave is at it again.

Manchester United’s man between the sticks came under heavy criticism recently as he conceded, what many saw as, two soft goals as Spain were beaten by Croatia at Euro 2016.

There was even talk of De Gea being dropped for Spain’s colossal clash with Italy in one of the ties of the round as the tournament enters the business end.

He quickly put an end to all that with these stunning stops.

He first denied Southampton’s Graziano Pelle from short range as the Italian’s header was no match for De Gea.

Emanuele Giaccherini then tried a spectacular overhead kick which the United man parried away.

He again denied the former Sunderland player in the final moments of the first half, keeping his side in the game.

He was eventually beaten later in the half. His great reflex save unfortunately fell to an Italian and the ball ended up in the net.

Manchester United fans will be hoping the Spaniard can continue his form from last season which saw him named the club’s player of the year award yet again.
