On Monday night Liverpool overcame Watford 1-0 away from home in what could turn out to be a crucial win for the Reds in their hunt for Champions League football.
With both Manchester clubs biting at their heels it was important Liverpool picked up a result. However, it took a special effort from Emre Can to break the deadlock on the stroke of half-time in what was a hard-fought game at Vicarage Road.
With Adam Lallana having hit the bar just minutes beforehand it looked as though the Reds would go into the interval level but this stunning hit from the 23-year-old ended up being of critical importance.

As is the case in almost every post-match interview with Jurgen Klopp following a win, the Anfield boss was all smiles and took the time to appreciate (via Sky Sports) what was a Goal of the Season contender from his number 23.

The Reds now go into the final three games of the campaign three points ahead of their nearest challengers, Manchester City, and four points above United, albeit with both Lancashire sides having a game in hand.
With two home matches against Southampton and Middlesbrough as well as an away clash against West Ham to come Liverpool should be confident of picking up nine points in their remaining games and secure their return to Europe’s premier club competition next season.
