Manchester United’s draw with Liverpool was a tense affair and the aggression spilt over to the sideline in the final minutes with Mourinho and Klopp butting horns.
Ander Herrera “took one for the team” late in the game when he pulled back Roberto Firmino as the Brazilian galloped towards the United goal. The Liverpool attacker turned and appeared to push Herrera in the chest. Both saw yellow cards brandished in their direction. Klopp, it appears, took serious issue with the Basque’s actions and it all boiled over.
The two managers almost came to blows on the touchline with fourth official Craig Pawson forced to separate the pair. Mourinho attempts to play peacemaker but his counterpart refuses.

The Sky cameras didn’t pick it up initially and there was no mention of it in their respective interviews. The German appears to be the aggressor and if it was the other way around, Mourinho would unquestionably be charged.
But with the unapologetic infatuation much of the media and the FA have with Klopp, he’ll likely escape punishment.
