Harry Arter wasn’t taking any guff from Jose Mourinho during Bournemouth’s well earned point at Old Trafford.
Manchester United and Bournemouth played out a tense 1-1 draw in Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon with some shocking scenes just before halftime.
After Tyrone Mings’ head stomp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic went unnoticed by the officials, the Swedish forward quickly got his own back by landing a heavy elbow on the Bournemouth defender.
However, it seems that the Manchester United players and staff felt that Zlatan’s conduct was perfectly acceptable given the context of the offence that proceeded it and, coming down the tunnel for the second half, Jose Mourinho attempted to scold the young Bournemouth star for his behaviour.
Having given Mings an earful in the tunnel, Mourinho attempted to give the 23-year-old a second scolding as they walked onto the pitch but, Harry Arter wasn’t long shutting him down.
Quickly intervening, the Irish international sent Mourinho on his way, giving him a scolding of his own for attempting to rattle the 23-year-old Mings after he’d already received a cracking elbow in the face for his troubles.
