Gary Neville has named two players that he feels Sir Alex Ferguson should have mentioned in his list of ‘world class’ players that he managed. 

Over the past week, a number of quotes from Sir Alex Ferguson’s new book were reported by the media at large. However, one quote more than any other received the most air time.

In his new book on leadership, Sir Alex claimed that he only ever managed four world class players during his time as manager at Manchester United.

Many found that comment to be rather bizarre considering the incredible list of talent that has worked under the Scotsman. Speaking on Monday Night Football this evening, Gary Neville felt that there were two glaringly obvious omissions that deserved a mention.
