Dele Alli made one of the most despicable challenges of the season on Kevin De Bruyne on Saturday evening only for the Belgian to dust himself off and rattle the ball into the back of the net moments later.
In the 68th minute, De Bruyne and Dele Alli contested for a breaking ball only for the Spurs midfielder to fly in on the Belgian with an outrageously reckless tackle that, on another day, could have seen the Manchester City midfielder leaving the pitch on a stretcher.
However, De Bruyne did not get overly excited about the incident and instead, he picked himself up and went back to work. With Spurs only a goal to the good at that point in time, the game still hung in the balance but, shortly after play had resumed De Bruyne killed off the contest rattling a left-footed effort past Hugo Lloris.
