Real Madrid have just become the first club in history to retain the FIFA Club World Cup.
Real Madrid took on Gremio in the FIFA Club World Cup Final in Abu Dhabi on Saturday evening with Cristiano Ronaldo firing his side to glory with a long-range free kick.
The goal once again highlighted Ronaldo’s extraordinary contribution in the most crucial of moments with the Portuguese international now having scored nine goals in eight finals for the Bernabeu giants.

The goal itself came from a dead ball situation with Ronaldo stepping up to thump home the ball from some distance.
Although the goalkeeper will feel he could have done better, he surely could not have predicted the unorthodox manner of Ronaldo’s awkward strike with the ball whipping towards him and bouncing before it struck the back of the net.
