It’s been seven years since Cristiano Ronaldo played under Sir Alex Ferguson. But he hasn’t forgotten the ‘Hair Dryer treatment’ one bit.
Do we detect a tinge of fear in Ronaldo’s recollection of the dark side of Alex Ferguson? Well, perhaps dark side is a bit sinister. It was certainly an angry side though.
And of course, Ronaldo hasn’t forgotten his English swear words, always positive to see. It seems like a time honoured tradition at this stage for foreign players to always grasp a handle on the swear words before moving on to anything else.
You can’t help but love the “But it was good” Ronaldo throws in at the end. Almost as if he knows Fergie is going to be watching and is still scared to say anything bad about his former boss.
This was a clip from the BBC’s recent documentary, ‘Sir Alex Ferguson: Secrets of Success’ which aired on Sunday night.
