Diego Costa’s extravagant celebrations on Friday night after Chelsea’s Premier League title-sealing win over West Brom will go down in history as some of the most bizarre ever seen.
But to add to his wild celebrations the Spain international decided to make the most of a buffet laid on for media personnel on Monday night as the champions celebrated in front of their home fans at Stamford Bridge.
Eating during half-time, particularly from a spread one would imagine is not all orange slices and Jaffa Cakes, would be frowned upon by most managers, but Antonio Conte took the news extremely well. Winning the Premier League title less than a week ago may just have something to do with his relaxed demeanour, however.
Watch below as the assembled media joke that Costa had been munching on some chocolate cake during the interval.

Costa, who is under contract until 2019 with the Pensioners, has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League in recent times, but last week insisted his future is in his own hands.
Given how jovially he greeted becoming a Premier League champion for the second time on Friday night, perhaps he will want to stay for a while longer yet, particularly if there’s more free cake on offer.
