That was quick…
Christian Eriksen scored to put Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 up against Manchester United at Wembley after just 11 seconds.
The goal came from a long ball almost directly from kick-off which was flicked on to the path of the Dane who found himself in the box with just David de Gea to beat. He did so coolly, finding the left-bottom corner of the net.
Eriksen’s strike is officially the second fastest goal in Premier League history, with the record held by another Spurs man, Ledley King, for his goal against Bradford in 2000. The former Tottenham skipper bagged after just ten seconds.
