British Prime Minister and sometime Aston Villa fan, David Cameron has called on Gary Lineker to honour the bet he made earlier this season.
The Leicester native was so sure that his hometown club would be unable to continue their success, that he committed to presenting Match of the Day on BBC in his pants should the Foxes win the league.
Today in the House of Commons, Leicester East MP Keith Vaz, sporting a Leicester City scarf, called on the Prime Minister to hold the former Tottenham, Barcelona and England striker to his pledge.
Mr Cameron “absolutely agreed” with the East Leicester MP that Lineker should present the highlights programme in his underwear given Leicester’s historic win on Monday night. How the mighty do fall.
From 1986 World Cup Golden Boot winner to presenting to an audience of millions in his underwear.
Will he? Won’t he?
