Ireland fans, look away now – Zlatan Ibrahimović is showing no sign of slowing down ahead of next week’s Euro 2016 showdown.

The 34 year old is in action for Sweden today as they take on Wales in a European Championship warm-up friendly in Stockholm.

Though this was billed as “Zlatan vs. Gareth Bale,” the Real Madrid started the game from the bench, allowing Ibrahimović to run the show in the manner that he has become accustomed to.

The home side lead 1-0 at half time, courtesy of a second ever international goal from Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg – though it was the build-up play and assist from Ibra that really caught the eye…

Flicking the ball over Wales captain Ashley Williams on the half way line, both he and fellow defender James Chester could only look on as the ball appeared glued to the feet of the former Paris Saint-Germain striker.

He picked out Forsberg on the edge of the area, and though the shot was not particularly clean, it still had enough on it to beat Wayne Hennessey in the Welsh goal.

Ibrahimović has looked sharp in this match with a series of step-overs and nutmegs, but Wales are yet to get going. It remains 1-0 at half time.

Twitter users have sounded their appreciation of Zlatan’s performance thus far…

John O’Shea and Richard Keogh should consider purchasing some rosary beads before next Monday, but Manchester United fans will have plenty to look forward to from their new forward next season.
