Watch: Beautiful Moment Between Alexis Sanchez & Arsene Wenger After Last Gasp Burnley Win

Although Arsene Wenger is not known for forming a very close relationship with his players, a heart warming moment between the Arsenal manager and Alexis Sanchez suggests that a special bond is forming between the pair.

Speaking about his relationship with his new manager after making a summer move from Borussia Monchengladbach, Granit Xhaka recently revealed that Wenger was pretty hands off with his players.

Although the 23-year-old was quite positive about the Arsenal manager’s overall coaching style, speaking to Appenzeller Zeitung, he did admit that Wenger rarely communicated one to one with his players.

“He [Wenger] is not a coach who speaks daily. Wenger talked to me two or three times. He told me he was very impressed with how I train and how I behave in my character as I was disciplined.”

“He has an incredible way, an insane charisma. You look at him and know: ‘Wow, this man has achieved and experienced so much’. The respect for him is enormous.”

However, despite this rather distant relationship between the Swiss international and his new coach, it seems that Wenger has a glimmer in his eye when it comes to the man who is now arguably, the Gunners greatest talent.

Although Sanchez failed to make a major impact in Arsenal’s last gasp victory over Burnley at the weekend, Wenger was quick to embrace the Chilean forward after the final whistle.
