We are only eight weeks into the new Premier League season but there is already a feeling of inevitability that the title is going to end up at the Etihad Stadium come May.
Manchester City have already netted a mind-numbing 29 goals this season – a feat that is entirely unprecedented in the history of the Premier League. On Saturday, the Citizens took on Stoke City at home with Guardiola’s men notching a ridiculous seven goals in the outing.
It only took 17 minutes for City to open the scoring with Gabriel Jesus finishing off a fine move involving Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker.
Less than a minute later and City were two-nil up with the passage of play following the first and second goal perfectly illustrating just how dangerous the Sky Blues are at present.
