Visibly Frustrated Arsene Wenger Walks Out Of Post-Match Interview

Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday meant that for the first time in 22 years Spurs were guaranteed to finish above their north London rivals.

Goals from Dele Alli and Harry Kane just after half-time made the game safe as Arsenal now reflect on what could be a significant loss in their hunt for Champions League football next season.

Currently six points off the pace it is difficult to see any way back for the Gunners now, even though they have a game in hand on all those above them.

As is customary, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was asked to give his thoughts following the defeat on Sunday to Sky Sports, where he duly obliged until it was clear to see the frustration of the day’s events had got to him.

As the interviewer attempts to ask his final question, the Frenchman walks out of shot in a visible showing of annoyance possibly at the line of questioning or, more likely, over his side’s subpar performance, which now leaves Arsenal with a mountain to climb in their final five games of the season.

Next weekend’s match-up is another huge fixture on the football calendar as Arsenal host Manchester United.

An injury-ravaged United team will be looking to leapfrog Manchester City and climb up to fourth place while the best Arsenal can do is come within two points of Jose Mourinho’s men.
