Sebastian Giovinco lit up the MLS recently with some sublime skill for Toronto FC.
In the aftermath of some scrappy play, which eventually saw Toronto’s opponents, New England Revolution, give up possession to Giovinco, the former Juventus man managed to not only nutmeg one opponent with a back heel but he was also able to clip the ball through the legs of one of the last men back.
His cross was eventually lacking in accuracy but his ability to get into a crossing position in the first place was simply outstanding.
Despite having a player of this sort of quality on their books, Toronto eventually lost out to their MLS competitors on a scoreline of 3-1.
That said, we feel this double nutmeg would have made the legend that is Okocha proud.
