At half-time in tonight’s game, Bayern Munich were trailing Wolfsburg 1-0 at home. It was goals they needed, so Pep Guardiola introduced Robert Lewandowski in an attempt to perhaps find an equaliser.
At the time of writing, it appears to have been an inspired decision by the Spaniard. The Polish striker has scored five goals within nine minutes having been introduced.
Mind you, Lewandowski hasn’t scored for a while now. His form must be slipping.

It’s since been revealed that Lewandowski has now broken a number of Bundesliga records due to his five-goal haul.
