Real Madrid veteran Iker Casillas is now officially on his way out of Real Madrid after 25 years in the Spanish capital, leaving for Portuguese side Porto.
In a photo shoot akin to that of Barcelona’s Xavi following his departure, Real decided to photograph the Los Blancos legend next to the incredible 18 trophies he has won during an unforgettable 16 first team seasons with the club.
This trophy-laden career includes five La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues as well as a FIFA Club World Cup victory in 2014.
This success at club level has also given Casillas the opportunity to become an integral part of the Spanish national team, helping them to win the World Cup in 2010 as well as two Euros in 2008 and 2012.
The 34-year-old will go down as one of European football’s all-time greats.
